Y3 Residential

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you that, following the success of our visit in 2023, we have booked the following residential trip for Year 3 to PGL Caythorpe Court, Lincolnshire from Wednesday 8th  to Friday 10th May 2024.

Residential trips organised by the school are an optional, but invaluable, part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially. We hope that every child joins us, however, alternative activities are provided within school for those children who do not attend.

Every year we strive to achieve the best possible value for money and are pleased to confirm that the total cost of the trip will be £250, this is a £105 reduction on last year. This includes coach travel, all activities and full board for the duration (although you will need to provide a packed lunch on the first day). Please note, it is possible there will be an increase to this cost if there is a return to rising petrol prices.

Further information will be given at a meeting for parents later this year. This meeting is for adults only, pupils will be spoken to and will have the opportunity to ask questions in class around the same time. In the meantime, further information can be found on the PGL website:
